Tyler in Chicago

Kris & Mike brought Tyler with them to Chicago this past weekend when they came in for Pam's birthday party. It was Tyler's first trip to Chicago and we were so glad he was able to stop by our place for a quick visit.

It's a Boy!!!

Corey and I had our big ultrasound yesterday and are thrilled to announce that we will be having a baby boy in May! We are soo excited! The ultrasound was an amazing experience, there was no better feeling that seeing your little baby wriggling around. He was moving around a lot for us too, a very active lil' guy. Everything looked great and he's measuring around the 50th percentile for everything so he's exactly where he needs to be.

The grandparents are of course thrilled especially since we know they all secretly wanted a boy!

NYE 2007

This new years eve we trekked through the snow to Collin's house for some cocktails & appetizers. Then we headed off to The Chicago Chop House for the latest steak dinner I've ever had! It was a really fun night!





I was having too much fun taking pics of the food, I guess that's what you do when you can't drink...yum, apps!

Merry Christmas

I was very happy that my Mom & Dad came to Chicago to spend Christmas with me & Corey. It was the first time we've been able to be at our own home for Christmas since we've been together, which was really special.

Oh Baby!

Here's my first post about......our expected offspring!

Yes, as you all already know, Corey and I are expecting our first baby on May 21st! I guess I'm finally ready to tell the world I'm pregnant, besides, I can't really hide it anymore because my waist has definitely increased a few inches. Although we weren't 100% prepared for this, we are extremely excited and nervous all at the same time, as I'm sure every soon-to-be first time parents are. I have all faith that Corey and I will be fabulous parents and that this will be the most exciting and important adventure of our lives. So here's a few pictures of the journey so far...

The infamous positive test! Corey didn't initially believe it was accurate because the 2nd line wasn't as dark as the first line, but a quick look at the instructions showed him he wouldn't be getting out of it that easy!

We are 1 week shy of the half way point and on Jan 7th we will hopefully be able to find out if we will be having baby girl Gustafson or baby boy Gustafson! I can't wait, I just hope the little bugger lets us see it's naughty bits so we can find out :-)
