Baby Edlund is Coming!

Congrats to two of my favorite people on their most wonderful announcement! We are so happy for them and can't wait to see what an amazing little munchkin these two will have!

Corey finds new breakthroughs in modern day parenting!!  Look, everyone is happy!

8 weeks old!

We've made it to the 8 week mark!!! So far Corey and I seem to be doing a decent job as Hendrix is a happy healthy little boy. We are all starting to fall into some sort of routine as we are all getting comfortable now in our new roles. Hendrix is sleeping good waking anywhere from once to 3 times a night, usually about 2 times. He's a awake a lot more during the day and is very very alert. He loves looking around and going for walks outside, not in the stroller, just being held so he can look at everything going on around him. The best is how he smiles and coos at us which just melts our hearts. We continue to be amazed at everything he does and are having a blast watching our son grow! Here's some more pictures of the cutest baby ever born (and we aren't biased at all!!! It's true!)

It was super hot out and sunny so I had Hendrix dressed for the weather and couldn't help the impromptu photo session...he looked so darn cute!

I caught Hendrix discovering his feet! He stared at them in awe for quite a while


It amazes me on how many clothes a baby can go thru, this morning he went through 3 sleepers in 2 hours! His receiving blankets looked so comfy in the laundry basket, I thought Hendrix would enjoy laying on them for a while...which he did.



"Wait, why am I in a laundry basket Mom?"

"I'm not sure about this!"

"Enough with the pictures lady...get me out of here!"

Bath Time

Like most babies, Hendrix loves bath time. I can't wait til he's bigger and can sit up himself and play in the tub, I know he's going to love it.

Pride and the City

A reluctant Corey and I went down to check out the Gay Pride parade for the first time. I've always heard it was pretty crazy and a must see, but I must say, it was a lot tamer than I thought it would be. There were definitely some interesting characters and it was a good show!

Hendrix slept through the entire thing...maybe that was a good thing!
